Amazing compassionate staff, lovely front office staff!
I have 3 Dogs that always go to the animal hospital. One had an emergency Christmas Day and required back leg amputation the staff kept us informed, were calm & communication was excellent and even an emergency call out Christmas Day was affordable.
My frenchy got updated vaccines yesterday & didn’t even carry on like he was being murdered
I went in with my dog she had a large lump on her belly. They were very reassuring and booked her in for surgery to remove it now she is recovering well very friendly and helpful
Travelling through Kalgoorlie over the Christmas/ New Year period with our small dog that needed her teeth checked and cleaned. They fitted us in straight after Christmas, checked her over, and booked her in to get her teeth cleaned, all in the same day. The girls at reception are all very friendly and helpful and the service was fantastic. The only reason I dropped one star was that the vet that saw us didn't introduce himself (so, not sure who he was) and wasn't very client orientated.
Lovely people, very friendly and helpful. I was able to book my dog in for her vaccinations and check-ups very quickly. They ordered medication in for me that they don't normally carry and have this available for her appointment. Being able to book into a vet like this when travelling and having them be so helpful is just amazing. It certainly helps people who are travelling to look after their fur babies much easier.
Sadly I had to say goodbye to my furboy but the staff and vet were all very professional and caring at my sad time.
The emergency vet was very helpful and went above and beyond when my guinea pig was having seizures. She was very professional and sympathetic when my guinea pig passed away. She made me feel as comfortable as possible during a difficult time.
I have also had a great experience taking my cat in to get her stitches out, vaccination and her worming done. The vet was able to answer all my questions about worming and flea treatments. As a newish, very anxious, information hungry cat owner, I appreciated this greatly. (photo of Willow post appointment)
Ouba Girl (in picture) was sick with a tick-borne disease.
The staff at the Kalgoorlie Animal hospital identified the disease, provided her with medication, sent us a reminder about follow up appointments and were caring and compassionate towards our dog.
Edit: added another photo of building exterior on this follow up trip.
Recently one of my beautiful little ferrets needed to be helped across the bridge. The Vet, I'm so sorry I forgot her name and the rest of the team were so caring and lovely.
Thankyou
Had to take my dog in for her monthly injection. They fitted me in quickly as we are travelling atm. Nice staff
Sat waiting after we arrived on time for my cats appointment for about 45 mins after specified time. There were people standing everywhere and dogs were fighting. The place was disorganised.
While waiting, my daughter was asked to stand while they took her chair to give to someone else who was filling out paperwork.
The vet examined my cat. He has been previously been diagnosed with a stage 4 heart murmur by a different vet 6 months before moving to Kalgoorlie, but this new vet couldn’t hear it. I asked her to check again and I was told there was no point as there was no murmur. The vet told me my cat had feline leukaemia and did a blood test and it came back negative. I asked her to check the heart again and to humour me, she listened again and was shocked to find that he did in fact have a murmur.
Was told my boy is probably in the early stages of heart failure and needed an X-ray to confirm.
Left feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
